Description

Juwon Fayomi is a passionate and innovative researcher in the fields of material science, mechanical-metallurgy, and additive manufacturing.
He possessed Doctor of Engineering in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from TUT South Africa and is currently rounding up his second PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at RMIT University Australia.
His expertise spans additive manufacturing of lightweight materials, alloy design and development, powder metallurgy, chemistry of materials, and material-property-relationships.
He has explored various manufacturing processes to develop advanced metal alloys particularly for structural and industrial applications.
Fayomi has published widely in high impact journals and received multiple awards including Vice Chancellor institutional award for the outstanding research output. He was named among the top six research scholars in Australia by the Australia Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO) sponsored to represent early career researchers at the Asia-Oceania Forum Synchroton Radiation Research in Thailand.
Beyond Academic accolades, Fayomi is actively involved in leadership and unionism. He is currently serving as the Global President of the National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora (NANS-DIASPORA) and Chairman, Nigerian Scholars in Australia (NISA).
