Neuroscience is the broader scientific field that investigates the nervous system's structure, function, development, physiology, and disorders. It integrates disciplines such as biology, medicine, psychology, chemistry, and computer science to understand how the nervous system controls behavior, cognition, and bodily functions, and to develop treatments for neurological and psychiatric conditions.
